Bessie, the Holiday Cow

On our way to church there is a life size fiberglass cow that is in a back yard that overlooks Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters. The backyard is on a hill side, so the cow is very visible to the street. The family that owns the cow dresses it up for the holidays. We can't wait to see it's fancy clothes when a new holiday rolls around. This link describes the story about about Bessie.

This first photo is Bessie naked (no costume).

Friday night as we were driving home from grocery shopping we passed by Bessie. A new sign was out but we could not read it. As Pat was driving to church the next morning to a meeting, she called to tell me that Bessie was now on Facebook.
Family's have used Bessie for Photo Backdrops.
Once Bessie was recognizing the St. Peters Figure Skating Club.
Celebrating someones birthday.
I have missed a few holidays that Bessie was decorated for. One was Cinco de Mayo where Bessie was decorated with a chili pepper necklace.
